WHAT SIZE SHOE FITS IN A MILAN SHOE BOX?

Most women’s shoes fit in the Milan Shoe Box. Depending on the type of shoe, some customers will get two pairs of shoes in a single box. I can fit 2 pairs of size 38 ballet flats in one box or one pair of size 37 Adelaide RM Williams - but only just! Most of my boxes house my heels, sneakers, loafers and sandals, all ranging between a size 37 and 38

Shoes with a chunkier sole and boots generally don’t fit in the Milan Shoe Box but will often fit in the Miami Storage box.

For men’s shoes, the Sagitine Milan Boxes will take most size 9 men's shoe and some size 10 shoes. Trainers with chunkier soles or dress shoes with higher ankles generally don’t fit.

ARE THE BOXES MADE OUT OF PAPER?

Yes! The Sagitine Boxes are all made from a very dense hard card. The paper material helps to limit trapped moisture, reducing the likelihood of mould. The card material also means we use a higher density of recycled materials in their construction and they breakdown and degrade much more readily than plastics.

HOW DO THE BOXES OPEN AND CLOSE?

There is an internal Box that slips into an external casing. To open the box, use two hands, one to hold the casing and the other to pull on the leather tab and the internal box will pull out.

The Milan Shoe Box has a purposefully tight fit to ensure a high level of protection for your treasures. While the box can have a slight stickiness when opening and closing, this is an intentional design characteristic to minimize the amount of household dust getting into the box.

ARE THE BOXES SECURED INTO THE STAND?

No. The Milan Boxes were designed to both store and protect your shoes.  We wanted to find a solution that was better both practically and stylistically than the average plastic storage box. Which is why the Boxes are designed as storage boxes to either rack into the Stand, slip under your bed, as a stylish stack of boxes, or fit within your wardrobe or cupboard.  It’s because they’re so multi-functional that they don’t secure into the stand so they can be moved and used around your home.

Our Stands are crafted from a powder-coated aluminium frame and a solid walnut timber top.

CAN I VIEW THE SAGITINE RANGE ANYWHERE BEFORE I PURCHASE IT?

We’re an online-only business but we sometimes have our products used in window displays in Sydney and Melbourne. Send an email to info@sagitine.com and we will let you know if there are any Stands in displays around the city you can view.

DO YOU DELIVER INTERNATIONALLY?

No, unfortunately, we can't service other markets at the moment but it’s something we’re looking into.
