The Shanghai 14-Box Stand is designed for the daily treasures that move through your home, the shoes, bags, sunglasses, accessories and essentials you reach for often, but don’t want left out.

Beautifully balanced and set at the perfect standing height, the Shanghai is everyday storage that belongs in the open — whether that’s in an entry, hallway, bedroom or living area. It gives you a calm, organised place to set down your keys, sunglasses and bag at the end of the day.

Fourteen Milan Boxes give you generous, flexible storage without overwhelming the room. Its solid walnut timber top can be styled with pieces you love, or kept beautifully clear for the things you use every day.

When you order your Shanghai 14-Box Stand, you will receive:

A stunning solid walnut timber top
14 Milan Shoe Boxes

The Stand is crafted from powder-coated aluminium and finished with a solid walnut timber top, giving you practical storage with the presence of a beautiful furniture piece.

Each Milan Shoe Box is made from recycled hard card and designed with an outer casing and sliding inner Box, so you can easily access what’s inside while the structure remains beautifully contained.

The Boxes are designed with a purposefully close fit to help minimise dust and protect the pieces you treasure, while still allowing you to remove, reorganise and adapt them as needed.

Some assembly of the Stand is required. Now all you need to do is choose your colour x

Sagitine Boxes are made from a biodegradable and recycled hard card with a purposefully tight fit to ensure a high level of protection for your treasures. An inner box slides out of a casing box and all Sagitine Milan Boxes come compete with a luxury Sagitine Leather Pull.

Which colour should I choose?

Here’s how I always think about it. Heidi x

If your space is bright, clean and neutral, Nougat adds just the right amount of warmth.

If you already style with bold or colourful pieces, Off-White or Black will balance spaces beautifully.

If you’re leaning into moodier tones, Olive is a rich, gorgeous match, especially with the Black Frame.

Still can’t decide? Choose the colour that feels most at home with your favourite chair or artwork. The best design choices always feel personal.

Which size Stand should I choose?

Start with where it will live in your home.

If you have the space, choose the New York 20-Box Stand. I’ve never met anyone who hasn’t filled it.

The Shanghai 14-Box Stand is perfect for entries, hallways, bedrooms.

The Florence 8-Box Stand is the perfect blend of side table and storage.

What fits in a Box?

As a guide, I usually tell people the Milan Shoe Box fits up to around a men’s size 9 shoe.

That said, my partner is a size 10 and most of his loafers and dress shoes fit easily. Anything with a chunky sole or wider profile might struggle a little.

A friend also keeps her women’s size 37 RM Williams Adelaide Boots in a Milan Box, they are a little worn in, just as a note.

The easiest way to check is with an A4 piece of paper. The Milan Box is roughly A4-sized, so if your shoes sit within the edges of an A4 page, they should be fine. If they go well over the edge, they may be better suited to our Miami Storage Box.

Why are they made of paper?

Our Boxes are made from recycled hard card because I wanted a more considered alternative to plastic storage.

Plastic tubs can trap moisture, which isn’t ideal for shoes, leather, suede or the pieces you’re trying to protect. Paper-based materials allow for better airflow around your treasures, while still giving them a structured, beautiful place to live.

They’re designed to help protect and organise your pieces, without sealing them away in plastic.

Are they durable?

Absolutely. I’ve had most of mine for over six years and use them every day.

They’re made from a dense, hard-card structure that holds its shape over time. My five-year-old has used them as stepping stones, and they’ve handled it, although I wouldn’t recommend jumping on them.

Like any considered material, they just need a bit of care. They shouldn’t be exposed to water, and like a beautiful book or artwork, they can fade over time if left in direct sunlight.
