If your space is bright, clean and neutral, Nougat adds just the right amount of warmth.

As a guide, I usually tell people the Milan Shoe Box fits up to around a men’s size 9 shoe.

That said, my partner is a size 10 and most of his loafers and dress shoes fit easily. Anything with a chunky sole or wider profile might struggle a little.

A friend also keeps her women’s size 37 RM Williams Adelaide Boots in a Milan Box, they are a little worn in, just as a note.

The easiest way to check is with an A4 piece of paper. The Milan Box is roughly A4-sized, so if your shoes sit within the edges of an A4 page, they should be fine. If they go well over the edge, they may be better suited to our Miami Storage Box.

Our Boxes are made from recycled hard card because I wanted a more considered alternative to plastic storage.

They’re made from a dense, hard-card structure that holds its shape over time. My five-year-old has used them as stepping stones, and they’ve handled it, although I wouldn’t recommend jumping on them.

Like any considered material, they just need a bit of care. They shouldn’t be exposed to water, and like a beautiful book or artwork, they can fade over time if left in direct sunlight.
